Managers are often faced with having difficult and key conversations. Many managers do not have effective strategies to conduct them and may avoid having these conversations altogether. During this highly interactive session, participants will learn the strategies to mentally prepare, set the right environment and select the appropriate words to use in key and difficult conversations. They will also learn tools for coaching and giving feedback to  enhance the pace and quality of learning and innovation in their organizations.

Meet the Instructor

Donna Steffey, Lake Forest Center for Leadership Faculty

Nancy is a highly experienced executive leader and product expert. She is Senior Vice President/Chief Strategy Officer – Treasury Services at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, a position she has held since 2019. Nancy is responsible for modernization and strategic initiatives, innovation and transformation strategy, and strategic planning.

Nancy holds a doctorate from Case Western. Her expertise is in leading and managing multimillion–dollar product portfolios, defining and driving product strategy and vision, developing and leading diverse teams, and executing successful business transformation and sustainability strategies to drive service design innovation and market growth.
